EVERETT, WA – at approximately 2:00 a.m. Everett Police Major Crimes detectives arrested a 33- year-old Everett woman in connection with this case. The woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Murder 2nd Degree.

Major Crimes detectives continued to investigate leads throughout the day, which resulted in the arrest of two Everett men. One man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Murder 2nd Degree. The other man was booked for Robbery 1st Degree.

On Jan. 7, 2019 the medical examiner performed an autopsy on the victim, Michael T. Boone. The cause of death was determined to be exposure/hypothermia and the manner of death was determined to be homicide.

All suspects in this case are in custody. This case continues to be under active investigation.

Police investigate Jan. 4 homicide

EVERETT, WA – Just before 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2019 Everett Police was notified of a deceased body that had been discovered in a wooded area in the 4500 block of Broadway Ave.

Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit responded to investigate. The Snohomish Medical Examiner’s Office responded to assume jurisdiction over the body. The deceased was a white male believed to be in his late 40’s to mid-50’s.

On Jan. 7, 2019 the Snohomish County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. The deceased was identified as 46-year-old Michael T. Boone of Everett and he is believed to be homeless.

The Everett Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating this as a homicide and following up on potential leads.
