Snohomish County teens serve as pages

Three Snohomish County students recently spent a week in Olympia serving as pages in the Washington State House of Representatives. Hadley Grant, Rachel Gonzales and Jazmine Criswell were sponsored by Rep. Dan Kristiansen, R-Snohomish.
Pages are responsible for delivering messages and documents to state lawmakers in their offices, committee meetings and the House chamber. They also attend Legislative Page School during the day.
To become a page, applicants must have a legislative sponsor, be between the ages of 14 and 16, and obtain written permission from their parents and school. Pages earn $35 per day while serving in the program.
Hadley is a freshman who attends Snohomish High School and the 14-year-old daughter of Weldon and Donya Grant of Monroe.
Rachael is a 15-year-old student at Sky Valley Education Center in Monroe and the daughter of Darren and Aminda Gonzales of Monroe. She enjoys reading and various kinds of dancing, including ballet.
Jazmine also attends Snohomish High School and is home schooled. She enjoys outdoor activities, including riding horses, dirt bikes and ATVs. Jazmine is the 14-year-old daughter of Stacy and Bobbi Criswell of Snohomish.
