Betty Roberta Fisher

Fisher, Betty Roberta, 94, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Betty was born on a farm outside Whiting, Kansas Dec. 11, 1919 to Leona & Robert Stous.

She married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Fisher on April 5, 1942. After raising her children, she returned to her business career in Snohomish, WA as accounting supervisor for Snohomish School District. Glenn preceded her in death in 2006.

She was also preceded by her parents, sibling, Bob Stous, Jr. of Holton, KS and grandson, Joe Fisher. Survived by sons, Don Fisher (Sheryl) of Derby, Gene Fisher (Carol) of Wichita, Dr. Ray Fisher (Janet) of Wichita; daughter, Barb Fisher of Wichita; grandchildren, Kim Antal (Ray) of Derby, Bryan Fisher (Ali) Merriam, Camden Fisher (Jenny) of Denver, CO, Colin Fisher of Baxter Springs, Raegan Brane (Matt) of Wichita; and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary.

Funeral service Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Entombment Sat. 1:30 p.m. at Mission Chapel Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and Kansas Humane Society.
