A new vampire movie is slated to film in Everett this summer. Vampire Soul: Hidden in Plain Sight pays homage to classic and campy vampire films of the past while adding new twists to the genre. Moviegoers will see plenty of humor and action as the film pits neighbor against neighbor.

However, in real-life, the film has united neighbors and business partners. Local agent Ty Accornero with Emerging Artist Agency (EAA) has signed former WWF/WWE Tag Team Champion, Joe Legend; WWE Roddy Piper; ; Act of Valor star, Drea Castro; and State Legislator, Mike Hope. The group will be joined by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality star, Taylor Armstrong.

Jessica Soss, a Mill-Creek native and actress, also signed with EAA and is acting, producing and the script writer of the film. Soss brings key experience from roles in Worth the Weight, Another Chance, Mercy Hospital LIVE from the Forbidden Zone and more.

“Supporting the motion picture industry is critically important in Washington. It’s an economic driver - money is brought in and local talent is used,” said Hope. “I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Although this is currently an independent film talks are progressing about additional WWF stars joining the film which may garner funding from the WWF.

“As the small Washington town of Forks can attest, a movie being associated with your community can equal a huge financial boon for local businesses and residents,” said Soss. “In July 2009, tourism brought 16,000 people to Forks – as many people as the entire previous year.
