Shooting leaves one in critical condition in Everett.

EVERETT, WA – Major Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that left one in critical condition

 Just after 9:00 a.m. yesterday, Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired near Colby Ave and 44th ST SE after an altercation in a parking area.

 When officers arrived on the scene, they located a male in his thirties in the parking area with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers quickly rendered aid and were able to keep the victim stable until Everett Fire Department medics arrived and transported him to the hospital. The suspect fled before police arrived. 

 Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the relationship between the victim and the suspect and the circumstances around the shooting. The victim is in critical but stable condition at the
