AMAZON New Fulfillment Center in Arlington

Amazon today announced plans to open a new fulfillment center at 4620 172nd Street NE in the City of Arlington, Washington. The new fulfillment center is slated to open later this year with more than 1,000 full-time employees who will help pick, pack, and ship customer orders to communities across Snohomish County, Washington State, and beyond, and receive a starting wage of $15 an hour or more and comprehensive benefits that begin on day one. Amazon currently employs more than 80,000 employees throughout the State of Washington.

Employees at the over 600,000 square-foot facility will play an integral role in fulfilling customer items such as household goods, books, toys, and technology.

On top of Amazon’s national starting wage of $15 per hour, the company offers full-time employees comprehensive benefits including full medical, vision, and dental insurance as well as a 401(k) with 50 percent match starting on day one.
