Advisory group to discuss I-405/SR 167

Community members are invited to learn more about on-going and future transportation improvements along the Interstate 405 and State Route 167 corridors.

On Wednesday, Jan. 3, the I-405/SR 167 Executive Advisory Group will see the results of a recent independent review of the I-405 express toll lanes conducted by the University of Minnesota. The Joint Transportation Committee of the Washington State Legislature commissioned this report.

Representatives from the Washington State Department of Transportation will also provide an update on the express toll lanes and review potential options for funding and building the next set of improvements on the north end of I-405.

Additionally, Sound Transit and King County Parks will discuss the upcoming I-405 Bus Rapid Transit system and the Eastside Rail Corridor regional bicycle and pedestrian trail.

I-405/SR 167 Executive Advisory Group meeting details

When: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3
Where: Renton Community Center, 1715 Maple Valley Highway, Renton
Details: Members of the public are welcome to attend and provide brief
comments. Minutes and meeting materials will be posted to the
