Sunday Evening Stabbing

Detectives are investigating a stabbing involving juveniles, that occurred Sunday evening in the 11900 block of 51st Ave. NE., in Marysville.

Officers responded to the location just after 4:00 pm, and were told there had been a fistfight involving a 17-year-old male and a 14-year-old male. While the two were fighting a 15-year-old male jumped into the fight and began stabbing the older boy.

Both the 14 and 15-year-old boys were taken into custody, without incident. They will be booked into the Juvenile Justice Center, in Everett for Assault 1st Degree.

The 17-year-old was transported to an Everett hospital with stab wounds to the upper torso that are considered life-threatening. His current condition is unknown as of the time of this release.

Officers located and seized a knife at the scene. The investigation is on-going.
