Our Friend Latu Fifita (1968 - 2016)

Beloved husband and devoted father, Latu Matakimoana Fifita, 47, of Everett, Wash., passed away early Tuesday morning, June 21, 2016. Born December 19, 1968, to Mosese Foakilau Fifita and Mamata Sipinga Fakava Fifita in Neiafu, Tonga.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Pearson Fifita; children, Mosese, Malakai, Ma'ake, Naomi and Lesieli; and siblings, Tangikina (Taani Sanft), Meleseini (Motuliki Fifita), Ematisi (Kelekolio Kivalu), Duane (Jeanie Loquist), Tevita (Faafetai Satele), Simote (Lavinia Hola), and Peni (Rosetta Walters).

A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Latu served in many capacities including a mission to Ogden, Utah from 1989-1991. Latu dedicated his life to his family, his church and his career as an engineer for the Boeing Company.

A public viewing will be held at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle on June 26, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be held June 27th at 11 a.m. at 9509 19th Ave SE Everett, WA 98208.

He will be laid to rest in Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, WA.
