McIntyre Hall Receives Grant

McIntyre Hall has received a grant of $3000 from the Skagit Community Foundation in support of community outreach to high school students.

This grant from the Clinton W. and Florence Vaux Endowment fund will go a long way in helping to increase access to arts and cultural opportunities for Skagit County high school students during the 2015 – 2016 season.

Through this grant McIntyre Hall will work with area high schools on several programs throughout the year.

Programs will include events scheduled in the McIntyre Hall Presents Series: world music from Malawi, Honduras, Mexico, and Ireland; dance/theatre from Korea; jazz, folk, and educational enrichment initiatives including pre/post performance lectures and participatory masterclass with Metales M5.
