Comunity Transit Holiday Service

Community Transit buses will not operate on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Buses will be on regular schedule the day before the holidays, and reduced schedule the day after the holidays.

Regular service on the eve’s
On Wednesday, Dec. 24 and 31, Community Transit will operate all buses on regular schedule. Customer Information and the RideStore at Lynnwood Transit Center will close at 5 p.m..

No service on holidays
On Thursday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, there will be no Community Transit service.

Reduced service on Fridays
On Friday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, Community Transit will operate all local routes within Snohomish County on regular schedule. Routes 402, 413 and 421 will be the only commuter routes serving downtown Seattle, while Route 855 will be the only commuter route serving the University District.

On those days, Customer Information and the RideStore will close at 6 p.m.

Community Transit does not operate on six major holidays. A proposal to bring back service on Sundays and major holidays is under review. The public is encouraged to comment on this proposal; go to www.communitytransit.org/2015changes for more information.

Community Transit is responsible for providing transportation options for Snohomish County residents, including bus and paratransit service, vanpool and ridesharing options.
