Oxy Gene, Double Tall Bus to March in Merrysville Parade

Everyone’s favorite clean air superhero Oxy Gene will be accompanied by one of Community Transit’s popular Double Tall double decker buses at the Merrysville for the Holidays Electric Lights Parade in Marysville at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The Merrysville parade is an annual holiday celebration for Snohomish County residents and Oxy Gene – defender of truth, justice and really clean air – makes a regular appearance.

Get in the holiday spirit by joining Oxy, Santa and local service clubs, sports organizations and businesses at the celebration. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Court and travels down
State Avenue to Comeford Park.

The parade is followed by an outdoor family concert, watertower lighting, food vendors and holiday bonfire.

Because of the parade, buses along State Avenue will be rerouted from 5:45 to 9 p.m. Routes 201 and 202 will travel on Cedar Avenue between 4th Street and Grove Street during that time.
