Manhunt for Suspected Murderer

Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a homicide scene at the 3000 block of 164th St SW. A call came in around 11:30 p.m. last night that medical aid was needed at this location to treat a bleeding 42 year-old male, who died at the scene.

Investigators believe the victim had been fighting with another unidentified male, who injured the victim with what is believed to be a knife.

The suspect fled the scene and, after an extensive search of the area, is believed to be in a nearby apartment. Deputies have the scene secured while detectives obtain a search warrant for both the residence where they believe the suspect is located, as well as the crime scene. No weapon has been recovered.

The two men were known to each other.
