Sections of SR 9 reduced to single lane for overnight paving Aug. 21-24

Several sections of State Route 9 between Marysville and south of Snohomish will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic for nightly pavement repairs Monday through Thursday, Aug. 21-24. SR 96 in Cathcart also will see nighttime single-lane closures Thursday and Friday, Aug. 24-25. 

Monday, Aug. 21
SR 9 will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, from just south of Second Street to just north of 108th Street Southeast in Snohomish.

Tuesday, Aug. 22
Beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, until 5 a.m. Aug. 23, people should expect SR 9 to be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic:

  • From just south of Second Street to just north of 108th Street Southeast in Snohomish.
  • From just north of 64th Street Northeast in Marysville to just north of 32nd Street Southeast in Lake Stevens.
  • From north of Bickford Avenue to south of 30th Street in Snohomish.

Wednesday Aug. 23
Beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, until 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, people should expect SR 9 to be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic:

  • Just north of 64th Street Northeast in Marysville.
  • From SR 96/East Lowell Larimer Road to north of 108th Street Southeast south of Snohomish for mobile striping options.

Thursday, Aug. 24
SR 96 will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic from 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, until 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at SR 9 in Cathcart.

People should expect delays in work areas.
