EvergreenHealth Expands Vascular Care

Monroe, Wash. – Patients and families seeking vascular care in Snohomish County can now be treated at EvergreenHealth Monroe Vascular Care, a new clinic led by EvergreenHealth Vascular Care physician Dr. Amy Coulter.
The fellowship-trained vascular surgeon is seeing patients at EvergreenHealth Monroe Pavilion for office visits and vascular ultrasounds on Wednesdays between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., while continuing to perform surgeries at her primary Kirkland practice.

The expansion of vascular care in Monroe provides a convenient alternative to traveling to Kirkland, and enables the community hospital to better meet the needs of patients across the Sky Valley region.

Dr. Coulter is board certified in vascular surgery and specializes in endovascular and open surgical treatment of abdominal aortic and thoracic aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), mesenteric vascular disease and peripheral arterial aneurysms. She also has clinical expertise in stroke prevention with carotid stenting and endarterectomy, dialysis access, and treatment of venous insufficiency, varicose veins and deep venous thrombosis.

“Dr. Amy Coulter provides exceptional vascular care to patients at her Kirkland practice, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Monroe community, as well,” said Renée Jensen, chief administrative officer of EvergreenHealth Monroe. “With the expansion of care at Dr. Coulter’s new satellite clinic, patients in the Sky Valley region will have greater access to care and resources without being required to travel far from home. This new location is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating comprehensive and attentive care, serving patients across King and Snohomish Counties and beyond.”

In addition to her extensive expertise in vascular care, Dr. Coulter provides surgical education and review courses to surgeons attempting to become board certified and has also worked to expand and provide comprehensive patient care and services for complex vascular disease.
