Arrest Made in Lynnwood Homicide

EVERETT, Wash. – A 19 year-old Everett man has been arrested for 2nd degree murder and is suspected of shooting and killing a 22 year-old Lynnwood man last Saturday night. The suspect admitted to being at the location where the vehicle used in the crime had been abandoned.

Following up on leads and witness interviews related to the homicide, detectives now believe there were only two occupants in the suspect vehicle, a female driver and the suspect. It is believed that the suspect, who was in the passenger seat, fired a single shot through the closed window, striking and killing the victim at the 16100 block of Ash Way in Lynnwood. The driver and suspect fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle at a gas station at the corner of Rucker and 41st Ave in Everett.

Detectives believe that they have located all suspects related to the incident and that the male is the lone shooter.

Identification of the decedent is pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.

Lynnwood, WASH. –  A 22 year old Everett man was shot and killed during a dispute over a vehicle, suspects still at large. On 12/30/2017 at approximately 9:00 PM a group of people arrived in the 16100 Block of Ash Way, Lynnwood, WA. looking for a vehicle that was not returned to the owner after being loaded to a friend. While the group of people were in the area, the vehicle in question arrived and an altercation took place with the occupants. At least one shot was fired during the altercation and the Everett man was struck and killed. He was a member of the group of people who came to the area looking for the vehicle. The vehicle involved and the suspects are still at large.

When Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene they found the Everett man on the ground and immediately started CPR. Snohomish County Fire District #1 personnel arrived later and took over life saving measures, however the victim succumb to his injuries at the scene.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle in question (which is now listed as a stolen vehicle) and the three suspects. If you see the vehicle or suspects please do not approach, and immediately make a report to 911. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and pose a risk to anyone who approaches them.

The vehicle is a; 2006 Honda Pilot silver in color. WA Lic. BFM6750. The vehicle is described as having a broken passenger side rear window.

The three suspect are; 2 males and 1 female, no physical descriptions at this time.

The suspects left the scene south bound on Ash Way in the stolen Honda Pilot.
