SNOHOMISH, Wash. – Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit are seeking information from the public regarding a two-car collision that occurred last month at the intersection of S Machias Rd and Virginia St. The collision occurred just before midnight on June 6 and resulted in both drivers being seriously injured. Specifically, they are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision.

They are also seeking information from anyone who may have been at Doc’s Pilchuck Tavern in Snohomish earlier in the evening on June 6 who may have witnessed interactions between the male pick-up driver and other tavern patrons.

The driver of the pickup, a 41 year-old Snohomish man, is believed to be the at-fault driver and is suspected of driving under the influence. He sustained serious injuries to the spine. The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 20 year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with two broken legs.
