EVERETT, Wash. – Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office major crimes detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 50 year-old woman at a residence in the 12000 block of 4th Ave W. The woman’s roommate called 911 around 1:20 a.m. to report finding her deceased. Based on evidence at the scene, detectives believe her death to be suspicious. Detectives expect to be on scene investigating throughout the day and evening. Release of the name of the decedent is pending from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office, as well as the cause and manner of her death.

One southbound lane of 4th Ave W is currently blocked to traffic at 120th St SW and will continue to be closed as long as investigators are onsite.
