On July 1, Gov. Jay Inslee invited aviation representatives from around the state to attend a presentation of the Proclamation that commemorated June 2014 as General Aviation Appreciation Month in Washington.

The Event took place at the Governor’s office in Olympia. In attendance - Kandace Harvey President, Washington Airport Management Association, Ryan Zulauf, Legislative Committee Chair, Washington Airport Management Association,David Ketchum President, Washington State Community Airports Association, Les Smith President, Washington Pilots Association, Tristan Atkins Director of Aviation, Washington State Department of Transportation, David Ulane, Airport Owners and Pilots Association and Devin Osting, Alliance For Aviation Across America.
